Nazir's Story

The eldest and wisest of the three, Nazir nor Mohamed is an engineer by qualification. He forms a key element of the team. Nazir has had interest in anything that is fast or quick ever since he was a small kid. His racing career started some 15 years ago at Batu Tiga, Shah Alam in his VTEC powered Honda Accord. Nazir's passion with VTEC is symbiotic with the team choice to race with Honda's in every single season the have competed in. His experience with this technology is a key strength for the team and his knowledge is being put to good use by the team each time they contest in the MME. His Batu Tiga racing days came to an end with the closure of the circuit to make way for residential development and Nazir left to pursue his engineering degree in the UK. This though did not stop him from continuing his interests in motorsports. Upon returning home, he took up a professional racing course with a well known local instructor and started studying the Sepang F1 circuit extensively. This was the stepping stone for Nazir to pursue his racing career into the next level. The formation of Brothers In Racing was the cornerstone for Nazir in pursuing his passion for racing. This year will be his 4th year in MME. Nazir is aiming high this time, the podium is his goal. He wants nothing else short of a trophy! And he is working hard to achieve this by keeping fit and practicing frequently to ensure he will be in the best possible shape when the time comes to compete. His Long term goal is move one step further to drive in Group O in a Porsche GT3 RSR. God willing with his strong spirit and dedication they will get there one day. Patience is key and for now, the brother’s primary goal would like to finish the race in the top ranks of Group A and have fun at the same time.
