Our Cars
Team Brothers in Racing has consistenly been using Honda as our primary cars throughout the years. Honda has a long standing history in the world of Motorsport. This year marks Honda’s 50th Anniversary of World Championship Racing. 55 years ago company founder Soichiro Honda decided to venture into racing and decided that Honda’s debut would be at the world’s greatest racing event of the time, the Isle of Man TT in 1959. Since then, racing has been strongly featured in Honda’s heritage both in the UK and across the continents be it on two wheels, four-wheels and on water. This was one of the driving behind Brothers In Racing’s decision to use Honda as our competition cars. We initially contested in 2006 event with the Honda Civic (EG6). 2007 saw the Honda Civic (EG6) replaced with a more powerful member of the Civic family, the Honda Civic (EK9) Type R. For 2009 we have again chosen to compete with a Honda machine, a Honda Integra (DC5) Type R. Pursuing our dreams with Honda, we feel empowered. The Power of Dreams.
Honda Civic EG6

Introduced in July 1991 the fifth generation of the Honda Civic had a more wedge-shaped body and the length was increased to 257 cm (101.3 inches) for the two-door hatchback and 262 cm (103.2 inches) for the four-door sedan. The wagon was also dropped for overseas markets, while the previous generation station wagon continued in Japan.
Honda Civic EK9

The EK9 Civic Type R was preceded by two previous generations of unofficial Type R's - the EF9 SiR I and EG6 SiR II. The EF9 was the first Civic to feature the 'Racing' moniker, in the form of the top of the line SiR trim, featuring racing technology available in a production car. The first Civic to officially receive the Type R badge was introduced in 1997 as the EK9.
Honda Integra DC5

Team Brothers In Racing chose the Honda Integra (DC5) Type-R due to its superior technology and rich racing history and heritage. The Honda Integra (DC5) Type-R is powered by a 2.0-litre DOHC I-VTEC engine code named K20A that is designed with excellent intake and exhaust efficiency that enables it to produce a maximum power output of 220 hp (164 kW).
